My name is John Byrne. I am a software engineer who manages and develops digital projects. I am focussed on producing work that solves business and technical problems gracefully.

I am currently working in Dublin at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as a Staff Software Engineer. Here I lead a team delivering solutions for business requirements in an agile workflow.

Previously I worked in marketing at Brando Advertising Agency as Chief Technical Officer. In this role I led the team delivering multiple complex campaigns for clients such as O2 Telefónica, GAA, Standard Life, GloHealth, RaboDirect, BoyleSports.

My personal interests are history, open source software, and rugby when time allows.
